Most of us have experienced some form of loss, disappointment, or betrayal in our lives. So much so, that we felt the sadness, heartache, or anger could overwhelm our very existence.

These are the emotions that seep into our lives or sometimes with one devastating event settle in, take over and prevent us from living a happy, successful, and fulfilling life.

These are the exact emotions that rob us of creating a life of beauty, love and fulfillment.

How do you rise above these emotions? How do you create and thrive amidst the broken aspects of your life?

Well, I will tell you.

You must tap into your purpose. You must find that drive that gives you a reason to rise above the sadness or disappointment; that something that gives life value irrespective of lost love, failed careers (or classes), mistakes or broken trusts.

Your purpose is not a goal. It is a deeply personal force that gives your life direction. It gives it meaning. It is your contribution to life on Earth.

It exists. It is there, waiting for you to lean on and carry you through the hardest moments of your life.

There is no loss, no heartache, no disappointment or betrayal that can rob you of your purpose. It cannot be stripped from you or stolen.

You can’t even give it away. It is ALWAYS there to help you recover, reboot, or revive your desire to create a meaningful and engaging life. – It is God’s gift to you. A promise to you that life is always worth living.

What a monumentally powerful tool; one far too valuable to go unnoticed or abandoned.

Over the next several weeks we will dig deep into this subject of purpose.

We will discover or refine your understanding of that driving force that has the potential to give your life meaning, or for so many, to restore it.

So, where do we start?

In order to find our purpose, we must first be willing to see the clues that keep resurfacing throughout our lives.

Remember, your purpose has always been with you, so we must pay attention to who we are and the choices we’ve made.

So, today, we will start by revisiting the life we have created thus far.

So, tell me….

Who are you?

Where did you grow up?

Parents’ names?

Siblings?

Children?

Best Friends?

(Are you writing these answers down? You’ll want to look them over later.)

Coworkers?

Groups you belong to?

Do you have pets?

Your hobbies?

Your dreams?

Your accomplishments?

Goals?

Dreams?

Excellent! We’ve just opened the door and taken a peek inside of your life.

Continue to write down important aspects of your life. Anything that comes to mind you feel is important. There are no rules here.

We are just getting reacquainted with a life lived.

Next week, we’ll take this list and hone it. It will take us one step closer to revealing your purpose and one step closer to creating a happy, successful, and fulfilling life.

You are an ARTIST.

I see it.

With Great Love,

Annie
